Music for a Cause

Melodies of McKinney-Vento will host a benefit concert and art exhibition with local young musicians and artists to support the Beaverton School District's McK-inney-Vento Program. The McKinney-Vento Program protects the educational rights of students who lack a fixed, regular or adequate nighttime residence.

This school year, the McKinney-Vento Program has served 1,37 l children who are experiencing housing insecurity and has one of the highest densities of homeless students in all of Oregon. The proceeds of this concert will be used to support the needs of students served by the Beaverton School District McKinney-Vento team.
